The Magnetron: a place out of time and space

May 12, 2015

This the Magnetron.  For years it’s stood ’empty’, hidden under a flyover in the middle of Chester. No one can ever remember it being open and online searches reveal nothing.  If you walk by it you’ll notice that someone is watching it.  There are over a half a dozen security cameras, well maintained unlike the premises.  No one has ever been seen entering or leaving.  No one knows what it was, what it is for or who owns it.  If you’re ever in Chester go and visit but try not to stare as you never know who’s watching.  It’s a special place, you can just tell, a place out of time and space.  A place between the chimes.
